The CSU policy on Sponsored Projects Accounts Receivable was adopted in March, 2018, to clarify the procedures and responsibilities associated with collecting amounts owed by sponsors to the University. The Office of Sponsored Programs, Principal Investigators, departmental accounting staff and college Business Officers, Deans and Department Heads all share responsibilities for assuring that bad debt does not arise.

CSU has adopted a new policy on Effort Reporting for those working on sponsored projects. It’s important to know and follow this policy to protect your research grants and meet the requirements of the Uniform Guidance. Look for additional guidelines with practical “how-to” information, coming soon.
